Man injured after shots fired from vehicle in Minneapolis’ Near North community

Minneapolis police are investigating a shooting that happened just after 9 p.m. Sunday in the Harrison neighborhood within the city’s Near North community.
Police say officers responding to the report of a shooting found a man in his 20s with an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound near the intersection of North Newton and Glenwood avenues.
The man was treated at the scene before he was taken to a hospital.
According to police, early information indicates the man was “standing with others near a vehicle” when shots were fired from another vehicle.
At the time of posting, police have not made any arrests.
