Patrick Henry High School football rides historic season with undefeated start

Patrick Henry High School football is having one of their best seasons in school history and will play for their sixth consecutive win of the season Friday night against Minneapolis South.
Patrick Henry is undefeated and with a win Friday night would give them a 6-0 start to a season for the first time since 1973. The Patriots went 8-0 in 1973.

The Patriots’ offense this season is led by senior running back Newmann Thomas. His 12 rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown has him as one of the top scorers in the state this season.
Thomas has rushed for over 800 yards through five games this season, his goal was to exceed 1,000 yards.
The Patriots host Minneapolis South at 5:30 p.m. Friday night at Patrick Henry High School.
