Teen cyclist hospitalized after crash with vehicle in Minneapolis
A teenage boy was taken to the hospital for potentially life-threatening injuries after crashing into a vehicle in Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon.
Minneapolis police say the collision happened at the intersection of 49th Street West and Knox Avenue South just after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The boy, who is believed to have been riding a bicycle when he struck the vehicle in the intersection, was taken to Hennepin Healthcare for treatment of his injuries.
The driver is reportedly cooperating with investigators, and there is no indication of impairment, police say.
The investigation remains active.
