Eden Prairie Police: Man arrested after damaging grocery store with machete

A man was arrested Monday night after police say he damaged a grocery store with a machete in Eden Prairie.

According to Eden Prairie police, officers were called to Jerry’s Foods on Hennepin Town Road at around 6:45 p.m. on a report of a person with a machete causing damage inside.

There, officers found an 18-year-old and arrested him without incident.

Police say nobody was injured but some shelves inside the store were damaged.
