Buffalo bicyclist dies after collision with car

A Buffalo man died Thursday night after he collided with a car while biking in Winona.

A Minnesota State Patrol crash report says the crash happened at around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 61 and Vila Street.

Matthew Michael Tipton, 40, was biking when he and a Honda Accord collided at the intersection.

Tipton wasn’t wearing a helmet and died from his injuries, the crash report states. The two people in the Honda weren’t hurt.

No other details regarding the crash were immediately available.
