Southbound lanes on 35E to close in Mendota Heights Sept. 16-18

Drivers will encounter a full southbound closure of I-35E from I-494 to Lone Oak Road starting at 8 pm Friday, Sept. 16 through 6 am Monday, Sept. 18.

To get around the closure, you could use Pilot Knob Road, Highway 13 or Cedar Avenue as an alternate route.

The closure is due to construction along 35E and 494 in the area.

The I-494 westbound ramp to 35E southbound along with the 35E northbound ramp to I-494 westbound is also closed until Monday, Sept. 19. To get around the ramp closures, use Pilot Knob Road.
