Wild add Sam Steel on 1-year deal
The Minnesota Wild added a free agent to the roster Tuesday.
The team announced the signing of center Sam Steel to a one-year, $825,000 contract.
Steel, 24, tallied 20 points (6-14=20) and 16 penalty minutes in 68 games with Anaheim last season.
For his career, he’s totaled 65 points (24-41=65), 77 blocked shots and 111 hits in 197 NHL games.
Steel was selected by Anaheim 30th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.
