1 injured in ‘unprovoked stabbing,’ Minneapolis police investigating
A man is recovering from injuries not considered to be life-threatening after police say he was stabbed Friday morning.
According to Minneapolis police, officers were called to an area near the intersection of North 10th Street and Currie Avenue just after 6:30 a.m. for a report of a stabbing.
When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man who had been stabbed. He told police the stabbing was unprovoked, and was then brought to Hennepin Healthcare.
Police say the suspect left the scene. The suspect’s description wasn’t immediately provided.
Minneapolis police say they’re investigating the incident.
