Spring begins Thursday with a mix of rain, snow

Spring officially begins Thursday at 10:50 p.m., but it is not forecast to feel much like it.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, rain is expected to fall overnight Wednesday around the metro area with a low temperature of 36 degrees.

Thursday is forecast to be wet with rain and thunderstorms throughout the day which will turn to snow overnight. By Friday morning, one to three inches of snow is possible across the Twin Cities.
A chilly weekend is ahead with temperatures Saturday peaking just above freezing, however, the outlook does appear dry through Sunday night.
