Day of Dignity returns to Minneapolis Saturday

A community celebration is scheduled to return in north Minneapolis on Saturday.
The Day of Dignity runs from noon to 5 p.m. at Masjid An-Nur mosque, which is located on the corner of Lyndale Avenue North and 18th Avenue.
The gathering features everything from free haircuts to medical help, aimed at helping the community get what it needs all in one place. It is free to attend.
Imam Makram El-Amin, the executive director of Al-Maa’uun joined 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Saturday morning to talk about the event.
