Vikings CB Patrick Peterson told KSTP that the last two days were super beneficial since many starters won’t play in Saturday’s preseason game at U.S. Bank Stadium. In other words, the main starters on offense and defense got solid 11-on-11 work in vs. another opponent that they otherwise wouldn’t have.
The next roster cutdown day is next Tuesday. The Vikings will go from 85 players to 80. Then, on August 30, need to go from 80 to 53.
