Eden Prairie beach closed for weekend due to bacteria levels in water

The City of Eden Prairie says that Round Lake Beach is temporarily closed due to high levels of bacteria in the water.
The issue was discovered through routine water testing at Round Lake, the city says. The closure will extend through at least the weekend. The beach will be reopened once testing shows safe levels again.
