Brooklyn Park police investigating overnight shooting in Norwood Park
Police say a person was shot at overnight in Brooklyn Park, but luckily wasn’t injured.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers were called to Norwood Park shortly after 1:30 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a person being shot at.
When officers arrived, they found multiple spent shell casings, and learned that as the person was leaving the park, two vehicles had blocked the entrance by parking in front of it.
Police say that’s when the victim heard several gunshots, with one bullet hitting their windshield.
The suspects then left the scene in their vehicles, and the person who was shot at called for help from their home about 30 minutes later.
No other details were immediately provided about the incident.
