Substance found at Minneapolis Federal Building harmless, authorities say

Authorities say a white, powdery substance that was discovered in a piece of mail at the Minneapolis Federal Building has been declared harmless.
The Minneapolis Fire Department was called to the scene Tuesday afternoon to investigate the incident.
The Minneapolis Police Department Bomb Squad was also called to the scene.
HAZMAT Team was dispatched to 200 block of 3rd Ave S. for a white powdery substance found by an employee when they opened a mailed in application. HAZMAT Team made entry and is working to identify substance. MPD Bomb Squad has recently arrived on scene.
