This week’s honoree is from Glencoe-Silver Lake HS and it’s junior Mitchel Jaskowiak.

He scored his 1,000th career point in impressive fashion last week in a win at Rockford. He had 45 points, added 15 rebounds, 5 steals, 2 assists, and 5 blocked shots in the six point win.
He had 100 points over a three game stretch and is averaging 24.3 points per game on the season. He is also an outstanding football player, so much so that basketball might be his second-best sport.
