Apple partners with Target for new online, in-store shopping experience
Target Corporation has announced a new partnership with Apple, Inc.
Thursday, the Minneapolis-based retailer said it will be debuting the new partnership online. Then, a shop-in-shop concept will be introduced in select locations this month, with additional locations expected by the end of the fall.
The partnership, according to Target, brings Apple products and accessories together in one place and includes the assistance of Target Tech Consultants, who will receive specialized training from Apple.
"Apple products are popular with Target’s guests, and this new, dedicated shopping experience offers enhanced service and expanded offerings, building on our strength as a go-to destination for electronics," Christina Hennington, executive vice president and chief growth officer at Target, said in a statement.
After the online debut, the shop-in-shop concept will be implemented at 17 Target stores, including the Monticello store location, before the larger rollout.
