It’s felt like spring over the past few days in the Twin Cities, but winter isn’t letting February end without getting in the last word.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Sam Ryan, a winter storm will dump 2 to 4 inches of snow over the metro starting after midnight and lasting into Sunday morning. Moderate to heavy snowfall is expected, and drivers should plan for tricky road conditions and reduced visibility.
The storm system should clear out by the afternoon and leave behind some sunshine. It will be a little cooler on Sunday, with a high around 30 degrees, but there will be above-average temperatures for the rest of the week, Ryan said.
