Timberwolves All-Star big man Karl-Anthony Towns agreed to a $224 million supermax extension with the Minnesota Timberwolves three weeks ago that has him under contract for six more seasons — two years remain on his current deal, then the extension covers four more with a player option in the final year. On Friday, the Timberwolves made the contract official by hosting a news conference.
