TPC Twin Cities ready for this week’s 3M Open

KSTP Sports was at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine on Tuesday to see how the course is prepared to handle the 3M Open Thursday – Sunday.
Tuesday was a practice day for players, really the first opportunity to get acquainted or reacquainted with the fairways and greens.
We ran into 2021 Masters champion Hideki Matsuyama on the practice green. He’s one of the betting favorites this week.

Just three of the top-25 players in the World Golf Rankings will participate this week, but there are still some familiar names outside of Matsuyama.
The field includes two of the first three 3M Open champs: Cameron Champ (2021) and Michael Thompson (2020). Matthew Wolff, who won the inaugural 3M Open in 2019, is not in the field.
Rickie Fowler and former world No. 1 Jason Day are also in the field.
