Body found in Lake Bemidji

Authorities say a body was found Wednesday afternoon in Lake Bemidji.
A Minnesota Department of Natural Resources biologist was working at the lake and found the body floating on the southwest side of the lake, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office says.
Deputies then responded and recovered the body, along with some clothing and personal items on the shore.
The Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office will work to identify the victim and his cause of death.
No other details were immediately available.
