No injuries reported in 2 weekend Meeker County house fires
Authorities say no injuries were reported during two separate house fires that happened within 12 hours of each other in Meeker County.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office, the first fire happened on the 58000 block of 129th Street in Cedar Mills Township shortly after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
The home is considered a complete loss.
Authorities believe the fire started in the attic and was caused by an electrical issue.
A second fire was reported during the overnight hours Sunday.
Crews were called to the 900 block of Sellards Drive in Dassel around 2:40 a.m.
The sheriff’s office says that home received extensive damage, however, the cause of that fire is still being investigated.
