Police arrest second teenage suspect in Golden Valley carjacking
The Golden Valley Police Department says a 15-year-old suspect connected to an armed carjacking Monday night turned himself in Tuesday and has been formally charged.
The juvenile from Eden Prairie is the second person charged in the crime; police say he and a 15-year-old boy from Buffalo, Minnesota, were both charged with first-degree aggravated robbery.

The victims, two girls ages 16 and 14, said that the two suspects approached them at a Speedway gas station on Douglas Drive North at about 8:37 p.m. One of them then displayed a handgun and demanded the keys to the 2018 Lexus RX they were driving. No one was physically harmed.
Officers said they then recovered the vehicle in Bloomington later that night. Police also recovered a handgun and detained four teenagers, including one who was identified as the suspect who brandished the handgun and demanded keys from the victim.
