No injuries reported in early morning Minneapolis fire

Fire officials say no one was home and no one was hurt while firefighters extinguished a house fire early Wednesday morning.

In a series of tweets around 7 a.m., the Minneapolis Fire Department said crews were called to a home on the 3800 block of Aldrich Avenue North.

When they arrived, fire officials said they searched the home and found a mattress on fire, located on the second floor.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

No other details were immediately provided.
