St. Louis Park baseball celebrating first trip to state tournament in 70 years

The St. Louis Park high school baseball team takes on Maple Grove Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the 4A state quarterfinals at CHS Field. This is the Orioles first appearance at state since 1952.
We stopped by St. Louis Park’s practice on Monday, as they gear up to try and win three more games to capture the big school state championship.

The Orioles are led by senior and future Gopher Kristofer Hokenson, an outstanding pitcher and outfielder.
St. Louis Park beat defending section champ Hopkins to advance to state.
