Annandale woman killed in crash with dump truck

An Annandale woman died Tuesday afternoon following a crash with a dump truck.

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a reported crash on County Road 6 Southwest near 30th Street Southwest just before 3 p.m.

Deputies and Howard Lake police learned that a 2013 Chrysler 200 was headed north on County Road 6 when it drifted into the southbound lane and collided with a 2010 Peterbilt dump truck.

The driver of the Chrysler, identified by the Sheriff’s Office as 32-year-old Stephanie Tomann, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the dump truck wasn’t injured, according to the sheriff’s office. However, both vehicles were towed from the scene due to heavy damage.
