Man injured in shooting Saturday night in Brooklyn Park

A man is in stable condition at the hospital following a shooting around 8:45 p.m. Saturday night in Brooklyn Park, police say.

According to the Brooklyn Park police, officers arrived at a call for shots fired and found a man who had been shot on the 5600 block of 69th Avenue North. However, police say the injured man was not cooperative with officers but was taken to a hospital.

Police say that a witness told officers the potential suspect drove away in a vehicle. No suspects have been arrested. The case is under investigation.
