Man dies in 2-vehicle crash in Wabasha County

A man is dead following a crash Friday afternoon in Wabasha County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The crash report states that just after 3 p.m., a Dodge Ram headed southbound on Highway 61 crashed into a Ford Taurus near Highway 42 in Kellogg, Minnesota.
The driver of the Ford, 78-year-old James Lery Gander, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19-year-old driver of the Dodge was not hurt, according to the crash report.
Alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
