Timberwolves point guard Jordan McLaughlin is a finisher on and off the basketball court. He earned his master’s degree in Communication Management last weekend, taking part in the graduation ceremony at USC (University of Southern California).
We spoke with McLaughlin, via Zoom, to relive graduation and capture how great it is to achieve one of education’s highest honors.

McLaughlin, 26, had a career year. He was instrumental in Minnesota’s Game 4 playoff win over Memphis. He was labeled the MVP of that game by Anthony Edwards in a postgame interview.
He has firmly established his role in Chris Finch’s offense after being out of the rotation for different stretches. In fact, he didn’t play in Game 3 vs. Memphis.
McLaughlin is under team control for two more seasons.
