Applications now being accepted for new state housing program
Tuesday marks the first day applications can be submitted by Minnesotans to a new state housing program.
The program is called HomeHelpMN, and state leaders say it’ll provide relief to homeowners who have been impacted by the pandemic.
According to the state, the program includes financial help for mortgage reinstatement, as well as past due property expenses.
Funds for the program are limited, and the need is expected to be high.
Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on June 17.
