Water Street in Saint Paul to close May 16

The Saint Paul Public Works Department has announced that Water Street, also called Lilydale Road will close beginning Monday, May 16 due to an anticipated rise in Mississippi River water levels.
Water Street will be closed between Highway 13 and Plato Boulevard, however, access will remain to the Pool and Yacht Club and Harriet Island.
The rising water levels will also affect parks and trails near the river.
Public Works asks everyone to follow any posted signage and not to cross barriers.
The closure will remain until water levels recede.
