Twins get Arraez, Baldelli back from COVID list
As the Minnesota Twins continue losing players to injuries, they got good news on Thursday.
The team activated infielder/outfielder Luis Arraez from the COVID-19 list. Manager Rocco Baldelli was also back managing the team on Thursday.
To make room on the roster, the Twins optioned catcher José Godoy to Triple-A St. Paul.
Minnesota also moved pitcher Chris Paddack to the 60-day injured list as he deals with right elbow inflammation. He had been on the 15-day injured list.
Additionally, after having the second half of Wednesday night’s game postponed due to the weather, the Twins added Cole Sands as the 27th man for Thursday’s doubleheader.
