Fatal crash reported in Coon Rapids Tuesday morning

A man reportedly died after first responders in Coon Rapids responded to a vehicle crashing into a tree Tuesday morning.
A news release from the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office states that the crash happened at about 7:41 a.m. near the intersection of Foley Boulevard Northwest and 110th Avenue Northwest.
Investigators believe the vehicle was driven by an adult male heading south on Foley when it left the roadway and crashed into a tree.
Despite life-saving measures at the scene, the man was declared deceased after being taken to a hospital.
The incident remains under invetigation.
