Police say they are investigating a homicide in St. Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood.
According to St. Paul police, officers were called to a shooting on the 700 block of Edmund Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
There, officers found a man in his 20s suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid until medics took the man to a hospital, where he later died.
Police said multiple people were in the home when officers arrived and investigators are working to interview everyone and figure out what happened.

Police confirmed with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that this is the city’s 15th homicide of the year.
“We care deeply about what happens in this community and I can tell you our homicide investigators are gonna work around the clock to find the person or people responsible,” St. Paul Police Sgt. Natalie Davis said. “But, to just answer one more thing, I really think this takes cooperation with the community. We need the community’s help, to address gun violence, we need the community’s help.”
