Q&A: Arizona scout Mike Guentzel breaks down Wild-Blues series after Game 1

Arizona Coyotes pro scout and former Gophers assistant coach and player Mike Guentzel spoke with our Darren ‘Doogie’ Wolfson, via Zoom, to review the Blues’ Game 1 win and to look ahead to the rest of the series.

Guentzel scouts the Central Division, so has seen the Wild and Blues play a lot. He also chimed in on his son, Jake Guentzel, one of the star players on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Pittsburgh opened its playoff series vs. the New York Rangers on Tuesday night.

Game 2 of the Wild-Blues series is set for Wednesday night in St. Paul at 8:30 p.m.
