The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) says a bridge over I-94 and I-35E in St. Paul will close for multiple weeks starting Monday.
According to MnDOT, the Robert Street bridge will close by 5 a.m. April 25 for repairs and resurfacing, and will remain closed until sometime in late May, as long as weather conditions allow the project to continue on schedule.
A detour will be in place using Jackson, 12th and Cedar Streets.
The closure is part of a two-year project that is improving I-94 between Western Avenue and Mounds Boulevard, as well as I-35E between I-94 and University Avenue.
