State Patrol: 1 dead, multiple injured in multi-vehicle St. Paul crash

Authorities say a North St. Paul woman is dead after her vehicle hit a school bus while traveling the wrong way Tuesday night.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a Ford Fusion driven by 36-year-old Robin Grigsby of North St. Paul entered southbound I-35E at Victoria the wrong way and began traveling north in the southbound lanes.
Grigsby’s vehicle then made contact with a school bus south of Grand Avenue, according to the crash report, and then hit a Toyota Highlander, rolling, and hitting a GMC Terrain.
Road conditions were listed as wet at the time of the crash, which happened around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday.
The report states the school bus was driven by a 60-year-old Bayport woman, who was not injured. Two of the three passengers – who were all adults – received non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to United Hospital.

The State Patrol says the 50-year-old driver of the Highlander, as well as his three teenage passengers, all had non-life-threatening injuries, and were taken to Regions Hospital. All four of those occupants were from St. Paul.
The driver of the GMC Terrain, identified as a 68-year-old Eagan woman, was listed as not having any injuries.
No other information was immediately provided.
