Vikings sign ex-49er Jullian Taylor
The Minnesota Vikings have added some depth along the defensive line.
Thursday, the team announced the signing of defensive tackle Jullian Taylor.
Drafted in the seventh round, 223rd overall, in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Temple, Taylor spent two years with the San Francisco 49ers while Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah was with the organization.
Taylor tore his ACL in 2019 and started the 2020 season on the physically unable to perform list before he was waived. He’s been out of the league since then.
During his senior year at Temple, the 6-foot-5, 300-pound tackle was team captain and recorded 41 tackles with 11 tackles for loss. He played in 12 games across his two seasons with San Francisco, totaling 8 tackles, 1 pass defended and 1 fumble recovery.
