Monroe re-signs with Timberwolves, will stay for rest of the season

The Minnesota Timberwolves have made a new roster move.

KSTP Sports has confirmed the team has signed center Greg Monroe for the rest of the season.

In addition, Monroe will be eligible for the playoffs.

Basketball fans will remember Monroe played five games earlier this season with the team after signing a 10-day contract with the team in December.

Monroe played with the Washington Wizards and the Milwaukee Bucks, also while on a 10-day contract with each of those teams. He also just completed a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz.
