Victim identified in fatal Minneapolis shooting

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed near the intersection of 38th and Chicago Friday night.
According to a news release from the medical examiner’s office, Kirk Douglas Lee, 46-years-old, of Minneapolis, died from a gunshot wound to the torso after being brought to the Hennepin Healthcare emergency room.

This incident is the 14th death being investigated as a homicide in Minneapolis this year.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.
