Como Park seniors conclude long journey at State Girls Hoops Tourney

It takes a complete team effort to reach any State Tournament, but Como Park’s second-ever trip to the State Basketball Tournament has been helped by three seniors who came up together as four-year starters for the program.
Ronnie Porter, Jada James and Kaylynn Asberry helped the Cougars claim the #2-seed in the Class AAA State Tournament. The program’s only other trip to State came in the trio’s eighth-grade year.

Como Park opens State play on Wednesday at 2pm against Grand Rapids.
