Authorities say Wiley fired one gunshot on the third floor of the mall, grazing one person on the shoulder and hitting another in the leg. The victim whose leg was injured told police he knew Wiley and was upset from a prior incident, so he and a friend chased Wiley in the mall before Wiley fired the shot.
Wiley was arrested after police tracked him to a home in St. Paul. He also allegedly told police he “got scared” when the people chasing him got close and that’s why he fired the shot.
