Police investigating Alexandria stabbing

Your help is needed to help Alexandria police with a stabbing investigation.

According to police, officers were called to the 800 block of Fillmore Street around 11:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of an assault, which was reported as a stabbing.

Officers found a male victim who was stabbed, and was taken to Alomere Emergency Room after being treated by North Ambulance.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call police at 320-763-6631, and speak with a detective.

As of this time, police say there is no risk to the public, and it was an isolated incident.
