Alan Jackson announces concert at Xcel Energy Center
Country music star Alan Jackson has announced he will be stopping in St. Paul this summer as part of his Last Call: One More for the Road tour.
Jackson, a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame, says he will be traveling the road for the first time since he was diagnosed last fall with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT), a chronic inherited neuropathy condition which causes nerve deterioration and disrupts muscle function and movement, as well as balance.
The St. Paul concert is scheduled for Friday, July 29, and is the third stop in his tour. It’s followed by a concert at Alerus Center in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
The tour also includes two concerts which have been rescheduled from 2020.
Concert organizers say tickets for most of the shows will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 18. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, according to organizers. In addition, $1 will be matched by a group of donors and board members.
