Twins prospects who are not on the 40-man roster are in Fort Myers for minor league spring training. That list of players includes pitcher Simeon Woods Richardson. The Twins acquired the right-hander last summer in the trade with Toronto that shipped out pitcher Jose Berrios.
We had a chance to join a Zoom conference with Woods Richardson on Friday.

Woods Richardson, 21, only made four appearances in the Twins organization last summer after playing for Team USA in the Summer Olympics.
One of his goals for 2022 is to reach the majors. He finished 2021 at AA-Wichita, and seems like a good bet to open this year there.
