Following last weekend’s loss to Prior Lake, Lee Smith’s 29 year run as Eden Prairie boys hockey coach is over. Now a coaching free agent, his time in charge of the Eagles program has come to an end.
Smith led Eden Prairie to three state titles, 13 state tournament appearances, and over 540 wins. Simply put, few in state history can match his accomplishments.
