2-alarm house fire in Eagan Friday night injures 2
A two-alarm house fire in Eagan Friday night rendered the building uninhabitable and injured two.
According to the Eagan Fire Department, crews responded to a home in the 3900 block of Palisade Way at 8:02 p.m. and found an active structure fire. Flames were mostly isolated to the basement, but there was some exterior damage.
One victim was treated on-scene with minor injuries and a second was removed from the house by fire crews and taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The house is uninhabitable, a spokesperson for the department said, but Red Cross was not called as the residents had another place to stay.
M Health ambulance, Eagan police and crews from Burnsville, Apple Valley and Bloomington fire departments assisted at the scene.
The fire’s cause is unknown and is under investigation.
