Mankato teacher to study environment in Antarctica

Julia Battern, a teacher at Mankato East High School, talks about her upcoming trip to Antarctica with the 2041 Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving Antarctica. On this expedition, Julia, along with other educators, scientists, and researchers, will study environmental effects on Antarctica with the goal to understand the best ways to promote and teach sustainability efforts.
