Andover girls hockey win Section 7AA, remain unbeaten

The Andover Huskies girls hockey team defeated the Elk River/Zimmerman Elks 6-0 on Thursday evening, at Fogerty Ice Arena, to win Section 7AA.

Andover got on the board when junior forward Madison Brown scored to make it 1-0 with 9:36 left in the first period.
In the second, junior forward Isa Goettl scored off a rebound to make it 2-0 Huskies. Later, junior forward Ella Boerger scored to put Andover up 3-0 with 4:27 left in the second period.
In the third period, Boerger scored her second goal to make it a 4-0 game. Then, Goettl scored two more goals to get a hat trick for Andover.
