Minnesota’s Animal Humane Society to donate personal protective equipment
Growing concerns of shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic have resulted in Minnesota’s Animal Humane Society announcing its plans to donate its stock of personal protective equipment.
The equipment will be donated to the state, which will then distribute the items to local hospitals.
Veterinarians donate vital supplies to coronavirus fight
The organization will donate a total of 2,550 surgical masks, 110 disposable isolation gowns, 28,500 gloves and 650 face shields.
The equipment is usually used by veterinarians who work on shelter animals.
