Minnesotans and people across the country are rallying around a local 10-year-old boy who is going through chemotherapy.

Jack Albert was diagnosed with stage 4 Burkitt’s lymphoma, an aggressive form of cancer, last month.

Since then, Albert’s family has seen an outpouring of support from the Alexandria community and beyond.

Tuesday, the boys and girls varsity hockey games in Alexandria will try to help the family by hosting fundraisers and raffle drawings, with all proceeds going to the Albert family.

Anyone interested in donating can do so on the family’s GoFundMe page.
